Lance Corning is a former Intercontinental Champion, and fairly well known fighter... You know, from back in the early 2000's. His first federation and only title reign were lost to the history books, but he would be happy to tell you all about his times in Relentless Wrestling or how he lost the belt after a lengthy title reign. He never mentions who beat him, only that he didn't like it.

Now well from his ring days, he spends his time commentating for various wrestling federations. Up until very recently, he had to do the play by play commentary as he seemed to always be shackled up with, again his words, "this ditzy failed weathergirl". Now finally free from those shackles, he can do what he does best.

BEHIND THE CURTAIN

Lance never actually wrestled under any other moniker than his own birth name, and his reputation while working for those other feds has not exactly been stellar. Often coming to work drunk or getting into fights with his color commentator, Lance Corning is actually grateful that Ace has given him a chance to do his own thing.

That said, he probably does have a legitimate problem with booze. So long as he never hears the words "Tiffany Lords" (That's the person he used to be stuck doing commentary with), Lance is going to be all right.
